Two years ago I shot author and blogger >>Lisa Rank<< for >>Berlin Verlag<<, just recently I visited her in her new flat in Kreuzberg and did something like a home-story of her – and I even wrote her portrait (something I used to do ALL THE TIME but haven’t in what… five years?!).   Lisa’s Close Up is the beginning of an ongoing collaboration with the new business platform >>EDITION F<<. I met >>Max Mauff<< at the film set of “In der Überzahl” (for which he won the Max Ophüls film prize for up and coming actor this spring) along with the wonderful >>Ulrich Thomsen<< and a great team in Brandenburg in winter 2011/12.   A few weeks ago Max and I met up and went on a walk through Kreuzberg’s backyards and I snapped a few pictures. She’s always been one of those promising girls from journalism classes, with a >>saucy writing<< and the right portion of self-confidence to >>move mountains<<.
