Life.

My blogging habits have been insufficient lately and I’m very sorry. Life isn’t easy right now, I had a chronic sunisitis and a gum infection for months (!)… finally a doctor took a swap and found a nasty germ in my body and since day one of antibiotic treatment, I feel a lot better though still not entirely back in shape. I have been working like crazy, photographing, editing, writing and concepting new projects and jobs and have reached a level of busy-ness that I don’t want to continue.   I am planning to dedicate a week in February this …

Working Moms.

Misch-Masch.

The past weeks have been a bit crazy, I had a few equipment accidents and things weren’t always going smooth in this life of mine. Because I am so busy, I seem to not be capable of concentrating on writing/editing a whole post on one topic. So I thought, oh well, I’ll just throw in a few bits and pieces to show I’m alive (just barely, but well). I’m quite busy organizing insurance cases, repairs and finishing up some jobs.   I dearly hope I’m the only one on an overdose of bad luck these days. Have a wonderful week. …

Life lately. #27/52

Summer is – job-wise – usually a slow time for me, and I guess that’s fine. Since June was still quite busy with shootings and editing, even though I wanted to take a break, I am giving myself a less productive first half of July instead, and I use it to get things in order that have been undone way too long. I updated my >>website<< (that’s right, after more than two years) and relaunched a new design and everything, with my blog included (finally!). This feels so good. It’s like a whole new life.   Meanwhile, it’s a hot …

Life lately. #13/52

So after the sick week follows an almost healthy one. I worked my ass off these past days to catch up and actually got most of my stuff done. I spent a sunny saturday on a boat cruising Müggelsee and the lakes around with a group of drunken girls, which was absolutely amazing and so (!) relaxing. April will be good to me job-wise and will even involve a bit of travelling. While editing the past week’s photo shoots, I’m boosting my immune system with yellow, red and green smoothies and I really enjoy the beautiful weather outside. My eye …

Life lately. #12/52

Ten days of sick mini-me have tied my hands last week and explain why I am one week late on life-lately’s. The week was totally uneventful and exhausting, though I just love cuddling up all day so what’s there to complain? Sigh… Now I have caught my share of an eye infection, so hi there, sickness, once again.   All photos: Carolin Weinkopf via iPhone

Macedonia.

So after having found out that >>my life would change by 360°<< within the next few months, my stay in Macedonia happened to be a bit different from what I had initially planned. Luckily I have the best and caring friends in the world there, so I got pampered from head to toe.   We went on road trips, spent most of the time eating, singing or talking and for the first time on a trip I’ve made, photography was pretty much not the main thing to worry about. Besides the stressful journey back via Istanbul with a few hours …
